About Me & the HTL Program

As the director of the HTL program, my mission is to connect top-tier, career-driven students with industry leaders who are shaping the future of hospitality. I’ve spent my career bridging the gap between education and real-world opportunities, ensuring that students have the tools, connections, and experiences they need to thrive in this dynamic industry.

I believe that hospitality is built on relationships—between professionals, mentors, and the next generation of talent. That’s why I’ve dedicated myself to creating a program that not only benefits students but also provides businesses with direct access to exceptional emerging talent.

From Law to Hospitality: My Journey

Before stepping into the world of hospitality education, I built a career as a practicing lawyer, specializing in corporate and international law. My legal background gave me a deep understanding of business structures, global markets, and the critical role of strategic relationships—lessons that I now bring into my work with students. But while the legal profession shaped my analytical skills and problem-solving approach, I always found myself drawn to the human side of business—how people connect, grow, and create opportunities for one another.

That passion led me to education and, eventually, to my role as director of the HTL program. Here, I get to combine my experience in law, business, and hospitality to help students take meaningful steps toward their careers, connecting them with the industry leaders who can open doors and shape their futures.

“Hospitality is one of the most dynamic industries in the world.”

Why Hospitality? Why Teaching?

Hospitality is one of the most dynamic industries in the world—one that thrives on relationships, adaptability, and a global mindset. What excites me most about teaching in this field is helping students develop the skills and confidence to navigate an industry that is constantly evolving. My approach is hands-on and career-focused because I believe that education should be more than just theory—it should be a launchpad for real-world success.

That’s why I’m passionate about connecting students to opportunities, whether through mentorship, industry partnerships, or immersive experiences like our summer program in Paris.

The Paris Program: A Global Perspective on Hospitality

Paris is the heart of global hospitality, a city that has set the standard for excellence in service, cuisine, and luxury experiences.

Teaching in Paris allows me to expose students to the highest levels of hospitality, helping them understand what it means to operate in an international setting.

The program is more than just a class—it’s a deep dive into culture, business, and innovation, giving students firsthand experience in one of the most influential hospitality hubs in the world.

My Mission: Opening Doors for Students

I've always believed in the power of connections throughout my career—whether as a lawyer, educator, or mentor. My goal with the HTL program is simple: to help students bridge the gap between education and industry by providing them with direct access to the people and experiences that will shape their careers.

If you’re a student looking for guidance, a professional looking to give back, or an industry leader seeking fresh talent, let’s connect. Together, we can build a stronger, more connected future for hospitality.
